Festival FAQ’S

Race Packs
All race packs are to be collected on the morning of the event so please arrive in plenty of time to collect them and fill in the medical section on the back of the bib.

Toilets
Toilets will be open next to the event HQ and Start and Finish

Earphones
As the race is off road, headphones are permitted under UK Athletics rules. It’s still important to be able to hear your fellow runners, and instructions from marshals, therefore we recommend “open ear” bone conduction headphones for enjoyment and safety. If you do wear in-ear headphones, please leave one out so you can hear the sounds around you.

Dogs and Buggy
No, it is not possible to run with a buggy, all runners who would like to run with a dog can enter the canicross events on the Saturday.

Baggage Store
You can leave your bags in your vehicles which will be parked next to the start n finish.

Drink Station
We will have a drinks station at the end please can you bring a suitable bottle to run with

Parking
Will be £2 per car and just a short walk from the start and finish area.

Race Results
Draft results will be posted online soon after the race, and final results will be available no later than two weeks after the race.

Relay Teams
There is no relay class at this event.

Fun Run
Unfortunately, there won’t be a fun run but the 5k is a lovely option

Refund Policy
In common with the vast majority of races, we do not offer refunds or deferrals. However, you can transfer your entry to another runner. To do this, at no extra cost, please contact and choose to update my entry or email Alan who will be happy to help you. All name transfers must be complete no later than 14 days before race date

Do I have to run for Charity?
No, it is your choice whether to run for charity or not. Many runners do choose to run for a charity, and we expect our races this year to raise lots of money for local and national charities. Our official race charity is The Movement Centre and we aim to raise as much money as possible for them.

Race Experience
We are keen to ensure that everyone regardless of their ability enjoys the day. The start and finish arena will have music and drink and food outlets for you to enjoy after you have received your unique medal.
